Hey everyone welcome to another a manicure Monday!And yes it is still Monday where I live. If only for a couple of more hours. Hey at least I made it on the right day this time right? So today's manicure was indeed inspired by mermaids. My sister and I have always been fascinated by mermaids and their beauty. The beautiful blue-green colors associated with mermaids are among some of my favorite colors besides pastels, so I always love doing a good ol' mermaid mani!
So yes today's manicure is a bit messy I will admit. Dora attempted creating a french tip design free hand so yeah it's not perfect! If anyone has any tips on how to create a french tip mani free hand or using tools please let us know! So first she applied one coat of Sally Hansen's Triple Shine polish in Make Waves. A few minutes later she applied one more coat. After letting that fully dry she applied Wet N' Wild's Wild Shine nail color in black creme to the tips. Finally after letting that fully dry as well she applied Sally Hansen's The Big Matte Top Coat over her entire nail! P.S. If you're on the lookout for a good matte topcoat this one does an excellent job! The end result is a frosty blue-green color with matte black tips! Definitely giving the usual mermaid nail a bit more edge!

I love mermaid colors, too, and nail polishes seem to have the perfect ocean-themed colors. I love the dark contrast with the shiny blue.
