Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I wasn't planning to make a Halloween post today but I figured why not stop bye and say hi really quick.

So in case anyone was wondering my Halloween has so far consisted of eating chinese takeout, listening the rain (lovely to me, not so much to the trick or treaters probably) watching movies and passing out candy to young (and old) trick or treaters. Seriously though, we've already had a couple of twenty somethings knocking on our door and asking for candy. Is it just me or does anyone think that's a bit old to be trick or treating still?

So since I'm staying in, I decided to just go with something extremely quick and easy, a cat. I literally drew some whiskers and a nose on my face with some eyeliner and then I threw on a pair of diy cat ears. Bam I'm a cat.

Here's a crummy front camera self that I posted on Instagram and what I used for my nails tonight.

Well that's it guys. I hope everyone's Halloween is going amazing and that your all staying safe out there. Have a great weekend!

Playlist | October 2014

I love music. Music all year round is absolutely amazing, don't get me wrong. But I think there's something extra special about music this time of year. It could be that for some reason it's more socially acceptable to create something slower and more lyrically introspective rather than your standard edm dance floor hit. And no I don't hate that kind of music either, in fact I'm a huge fan of pop music actually. I feel like a song doesn't always have to be lyrically revolutionizing to be a good song, although I prefer it to have a smidge of substance. For instance "All about that Bass" has a great message, while at the same time being a radio friendly pop song. However you could not get me to listen to "Anaconda" or God forbid that J. Lo song "Booty" for all the pumpkin spice stuff in the world.

Anyways my point is I have a soft spot in my heart for lyrically beautiful songs that make you feel something other than the need to dance and I find myself listening to that type of music more this time of the year. So here's a playlist comprised of a little of everything, well, minus the booty songs.

"No One is Lost" - Stars
"Under the Tide" - Chvrches
"Habits" - Tove Lo
"Wake Me" - Bleachers
"Love Me Harder" - Ariana Grande ft. The Weeknd
"Wait" - M83
"Weekend" - Priory
"Another Love" - Tom Odell
"Sex" - The 1975
"Fade into You" - Mazzy Star
"Yellow Light" - Of Monsters and Men

The first two songs are a bit on the dance-y side but they also have a great meaning behind them. "Habits" and "Love Me Harder" are pretty damn popular so I'm sure you've heard them at some point or another, they're both songs about a love that just doesn't seem to be working out. "Wake Me" and "Fade into you" have this beautiful shoegazy melody to them that I always seem to fall in love with. "Wait" and "Another Love" are both beautiful, sad, sad songs.  "Weekend"is a fun pop anthem song while "Sex" is definitely a huge rock anthem, both with very different meanings. Lastly "Yellow Light", if I could only use one word to describe it, without any hesitation, it would be magical.

Let me know what you guys thought of this playlist in the comments! Also let me know what you've been listening to lately! As always thanks for reading.

How very Pinteresting!: Last Minute DIY Halloween Costumes.

Hello fellow procrastinators!

I'm a procrastinator, there's absolutely no doubt about that. It's not like I want to wait till the last minute to do everything, it's just what I'm naturally inclined to do. With that said if you're anything like me, you still might be wondering what you're going to be for Halloween this year, even though it's only FIVE DAYS away!!!. If you are finding yourself in the same predicament, you might want to take a look at this quick post I made full of some of the most interesting, affordable, and EASY costume ideas that I found while scavenging around Pinterest. All of these are diy, as it's much more affordable and just a lot more fun to create your own costume, rather than buy a packaged one I think. These are just a few ideas, there are many, many more out there on Pinterest so I would suggest taking a look there if none of these fit your fancy. You can also take a look at my DIY Halloween board for more ideas as well.

I'm sure you've got no time to waste, so scroll down for costumes!

Despicable Me Minion
This one's adorable! It could be a bit tricky finding some of the things for this costume. So I'd suggest getting creative and making your own goggles, hat, and unicorn toy. I check some where like Target for the top and leggings and check thrift stores for a pair of overalls!
I am obsessed with Lauren Conrad's Halloween costume this year. Mary Poppins is one of my favorite kids movies.

Here's another one where I'm sure most of us already have a majority of everything needed hanging in our closets!

Perfectly Posh Review

Hello!

So today I'm back with another review.  This time I'm going to be reviewing a whole bunch of different products from the skincare brand, Perfectly Posh. If you've never heard of them before, don't feel bad. I had never even once heard of them either until about a month ago. Here's a bit of information to get you started: Perfectly Posh is a skincare brand that sells naturally-based pampering products. All of their products are paraben free, sulfate free, cruelty free and contain no fillers. They also have plenty of vegan products as well. Oh and if you're anything like me, you'll be happy to know that everything they sell is under $25!  So basically I found out about them while I was browsing around Instagram. I seen a post saying that their looking for people to test and review their products so of course I was up for it! I left my email and a Perfectly Posh representative named Rachel Whitman contacted me via email a few days later. She asked me a few questions such as what skin concerns do I have? What fragrance do I like/dislike etc. I told her that I wasn't picky, and that the only skin concern I have is oily/acne prone skin. She told me she'd send me some samples that specifically target my concerns as well as some other ones. Shortly after that I received my samples in the mail! Now that I've had enough time to test (almost) all of them, I'm ready to let you guys know my thoughts.

Let's get to the reviews!

All the samples I received! I was actually really surprised by how many she sent!

Little sachet she included full of mini spatulas to pick up the products.

I'm going to start the reviews with what turned out to be my favorite sample, The D-Tox Body Mud Stripper. This product, according to Perfectly Posh, is "an aggressive detoxifying deep-cleansing body mud mask". It is supposed to absorb and remove free radicals and toxins from your skin, and with continued use supports cleaner, brighter skin with fewer blackheads and blemishes. The first thing I noticed about this product is that it smells wonderful. I imagined it might have this awful mud smell or something, but it actually smells like vanilla cupcake . Dora and I tested this product out together, using it as a mud mask for our faces. Note: It is safe to use on your face, but is not recommended for people with sensitive skin. We wet our face the tiniest bit, and then applied the mud to our faces. After a couple of minutes Dora and I felt a slight burning sensation , but it wasn't that bad so well pushed through, and after about 3 or 4 minutes it was gone. We kept the mask on for 15 minutes total(the maximum time recommded) until it felt really tight and hard, like most face masks do. After that I simply rinsed it off like I was washing my face. I'll admit it does take a bit more effort though, since the mask is a bit thick. Afterwards I did not see a noticeable difference in the way my skin looked. But the way my skin felt, was incredible. My skin felt so baby soft and smooth. I just kept touching my face, it was so soft! Dora was less impressed. She has very sensitive skin and decided to ignore their warning, so even though her skin felt really soft as well afterwards she says it isn't worth the burning. Plus weirdly enough, when she rinsed it off we noticed this weird cut/burn looking mark under her eye that wasn't their before. When she touched it she said it felt like it was on fire! So there you go, evidence that this product should really not be used on sensitive skin! However if you're like me, and your skin isn't super sensitive I think it's a wonderful face mask, it makes your skin super soft, and I love that it uses natural ingredients and is completely vegan!
RETAIL PRICE: $24
WOULD I THINK ABOUT PURCHASING IN THE FUTURE?: YES, DEFINITELY.

Next up the body butters! I received three scents: Brazilian Bombshell, Fresh, Creamy Milk, and Creamy Coconut Cocktail. Brazilian Bombshell was probably my favorite scent, it has a very bright and fruity smell, like tropical fruits. I imagined Fresh, Creamy Coconut would be my favorite because I love coconut scented stuff, however the name was very misleading, because it doesn't even smell like coconuts to me! Don't get my wrong though it still smells nice, just not very coconutty. Fresh, Creamy milk has a nice clean smell to it. It's very simple, not at all fruity like the others.Honestly none of the scents drove me wild or anything but the formula is really nice. It's not incredibly thick, the way some body butters are. It's consistency is only a little thicker than a body lotion. Once you  rub it in it sinks into your skin very quickly and does not feel oily or greasy whatsoever. I wish there had been a scent I loved because the formula is absolutely amazing!
RETAIL PRICE: $22
WOULD I THINK ABOUT PURCHASING IN THE FUTURE: MAYBE

These were some of the products I have not got a chance to test out yet so I can't give you guys a complete review yet! However I will tell you that they both smell amazing. The argan oil hair serum smells divine! I don't know how to describe the smell, but it's amazing and I want my hair to smell like it all the time. The tea tree + neem  deep clean hair and scalp mask has a very pepperminty smell. I know that's not everyone's thing, but personally I love minty scented things.I'm excited to try these products and will probably let you know what I think about them on my Instagram whenever I get the chance or just make an update right here on this post. P.S. If anyone's already tried these products, let me know in the comments!
RETAIL PRICE: $22

I'm going to be honest I was a little underwhelmed by these hand creams. The formula isn't that amazing, and it's not very different from a B&BW lotion or many other lotions out on the market. They sink in quick and aren't greasy, and their moderately moisturizing. So I'm definitely not saying their bad lotions, they work just fine. Once again, as with the body butters, the scents just weren't that great. I'll start with "Down with the dirty" it smells like it should be a men's lotion so I'm a bit confused about that, great for your dad or your bf I suppose! Next "Berrly Behaving" I think this was probably the best of the bunch. It smells like berries, but not like that overwhelmingly artificial berry smell. "Sassyooma" is very citrusy smelling one. I smelled like grapefruits, oranges, and lemons when I tested this one out. It's nice but can be a little overwhelming. Lastly "Snarky", idk how to describe it guys, I just don't like it at all.  I feel like the problem just might be that a lot of these scents are aimed at women older than me. I think I'll check back in ten years an pick up a few.
RETAIL PRICE: $9
WOULD I THINK ABOUT PURCHASING IN THE FUTURE: NO

I'm a huge fan of body scrubs so of course when I seen these I knew I had to try them out first! I tried "Sugar Fix" first which is a sugar based scrub (obviously) it has a light, floral smell to it which is okay. The scent doesn't linger too long anyway so I don't care if it's not exactly Chanel N°5. It's a fabulous scrub! It's a very thick scrub, which I happen to love, and the sugar crystals are quite large. I love the formula, it really feels like it's working when I use it, and my skin feels noticeably softer and smoother after I use it. I tried "The Daily Grind" next which is a sugar, salt, and coffee grounds body scrub. I can't get enough of this product, it's amazing. I love the smell of coffee brewing in the morning and whenever I use this it's like the exact same thing in my bathroom. Just like with "Sugar Fix" my skin feels great after using it. It also aides in the prevention of cellulite, so if anyone is looking for that this might be your fix.
RETAIL PRICE: $24
WOULD I THINK ABOUT PURCHASING IN THE FUTURE: YES

This product called "The Caffeinator" is a moisturizing shea butter stick infused with tigntening and brightening caffeine to reduce puffiness and fade dark circles. It is also said to lighten uneven skin overtime, reduce inflammation, reduce cellulite and more. They say to apply anywhere, but of course I figured this would be perfect for under my eyes. Let me just say I failed the first time. I realize now, that the key to using this product is using the teensiest amount. The first time I used it I applied a blob of it underneath both of my eyes and they were so greasy and oily afterwards. Later on I looked at the card for this product and realized it comes in a stick form, like the tubes lip balms come in, and with that in mind I knew I had made the mistake of putting on way too much. The next time I tried it I only applied a tiny bit, like the amount you would get gliding the balm over your skin.My skin wasn't super greasy this time but I didn't see a big difference. I still had dark circles, and my eyes were still puffy. However I know that products like this take time to work, and don't just make a difference instantaneously. That being said I can't say for sure if it works or not, because I would have to try it over a longer period of time to know for sure. However I think it would be worth trying as it serves a lot of different purposes and it's pretty inexpensive. Bonus: it smells like lemonade!
RETAIL PRICE: $12
WOULD I THINK ABOUT PURCHASING IN THE FUTURE: YES

"Pink Putty" is an intense repair pink peppermint hydrating foot mask. This was another product that I haven't got the chance to try out yet. The only thing I can say about it at the moment is that it smells like candycanes lol. I'll either update this post with my review whenever I try it out or share my thoughts on Instagram!
RETAIL PRICE: $14

I also received two more samples, but sadly misplaced them! "Moisturize 911 " which is a moisturizer for your face and "Complexion Perfection" which is a gentle, everyday face wash. If I ever find them, I will make sure to update this post with my thoughts on them!

If you guys feel like you'd like to try out any of these products you can request some free samples from Rachel. She's really nice and will work with you to make sure you receive products that are just right for you! You can email her at rachelw.posh@gmail.com if you're interested!

Ever heard of Perfectly Posh? Would you like to try any of these products? Let me know your thoughts in the comments, I love reading them! As always thanks for reading!

The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award

Once I was nominated for this award and started writing this post I couldn't help but think about the Sisterhood of the Travel Pants. I mean the fact that the picture going around for this is the back pocket of a pair of jeans certainly doesn't help. Also I will admit that I own the film, and that I also read the entire series in high school. No regrets yall. So I'd like to thank Nika, Bethany, & Bea for putting the wonderful thought of the magical pair of pants in my head all day, as well as nominating me, cause you know, that's pretty cool too. I'm still in shock that anyone even thinks my blog is worthy enough for an award, let alone three people.

How this works:
1. Thank the blogger that nominated you and link back to their blog.
2. Put the award logo on your blog.
3. Answer their ten questions.
4.Make up ten new questions for your nominees.
5.Nominate 10 bloggers for the award.

So yes I've been nominated by three people which means I will not be answering 10 questions but 30 QUESTIONS instead!

Let the fun begin.

Nika's Questions
1. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In ten years? Oh gosh so nearly 31 years old yikes! Well I hope to have completed most of my goals I've set for myself, standard stuff like graduate, find an amazing job, get my own house, family etc. I also hope to have done more adventurous and exciting stuff by then, I haven't done nearly enough of that. I definitely would love to be doing the blog still. I don't know what else to say, looking that far ahead is a bit scary.

2. Are you a spender or a saver?
Definitely a saver. I'm always looking for sales, and doing internet searches to find the lowest prices on things. It's a bit ridiculous actually.

3.Your most worn makeup product?
There's two. I can't go without concelear and foundation. I have some acne/ acne scarring, so concelear is always a must, and then obviously to even everything out I put on foundation as well.

4. Which products can't you go without in your everyday makeup routine?
Refer to question 3 (:

5. Do you prefer long or short hair?
I've always loved long hair and I think the fact that I finally have long hair has made me really want to try short hair. Long hair is a hassle! It's been yearrrssss since I had short hair and I think that I'm finally ready for a change. I've felt this way a few times, but I always thought I would regret it afterwards. Right now I am 100 percent sure if I cut it today, I'd have no regrets. I just realize I didn't really answer the question lol.

6. Your hobbies besides blogging?
I love to write, outside of the blog of course. When I was younger I used to write poetry & songs, and I still find that interesting, I just haven't done any of that recently. More recently I've been working on this idk, "story", of mine. I actually considered posting some of it on the blog or wattpad or something but I think I'll keep it myself until I get a better idea of where it's going/ feel like sharing it. I also enjoy cooking and baking. I like to experiment with different foods I've never tried before, it's really fun. I've also started reading again. I used to be such a bookworm in high school, and I've finally found myself back in the same position. I'm currently catching up on everything John Green's ever written lol.

7. When did you start blogging?
According to my archives January 2013. But then I stopped and didn't start again till July 2013. From there I blogged steadily until October 2013. Then I stopped yet again and didn't start again till May 2014. It's obviously been a challenge for me to commit to this, but I love doing it.

8. Do you have any pets?
Yes. A 3 year old Schnautzu (Schnauzer/ Shih Tzu mix) named Zooey. I should probably mention her more.

9. Would you like blogging to become your job?
Of course! Where can I sign up?

10. Your favorite movie?
I can't name just one, so I'll tell you a few. The Wizard of Oz, (500) Days of Summer, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, Back to the Future. Those are a few that I could watch over and over again and never get tired of.

Bethany's Questions
1. What's your favorite thing about Autumn?
Definitely the change in weather and environment, everything is so beautiful.

2. What's been your favorite purchase this year?
Pumpkin spice Oreos.

3. What would your perfect date be?
Catching a show (music), going out to eat afterwards, and exploring new places.

4. What song is your guilty pleasure?
I've recently become addicted to pop music, so I have quite a few actually. Right now it's probably "Love Me Harder" by Ariana Grande as well as the band 5 Seconds of Summer.

5.What advice would you give to your 13 year old self?
Be more outgoing and involved, just be more confident in general. Also looking back at school pictures, I'd say don't literally wake up 10 minutes before school starts, it's not a good look.

6. If you were an animal, what animal would you be?
Any sea creature. I'd love to live in the ocean.

7. What's the number one thing on your bucket list?
Write something and get it published. It doesn't have to be the next Hunger Games, I'm definitely not expecting anything like that. Even to get something I've written in to the hands of a few people, and have them enjoy it, that would be amazing.

8. What's your favorite food?
Sushi. I'm a vegetarian though, so finding good vegan/vegetarian sushi can be a challenge sometimes.

9. What made you start blogging?
Reading other people's blogs and having the realization that it's something I'd being interested in doing. It's the best of both worlds, being able to write, with full control, as well as talking about subjects that I am actually interested in.

10. What made you smile today?
Writing this post.

Bea's Questions
1. What's your favorite book? Why?
It's always changing for me. The Great Gatsby remains a constant favorite, and also at the moment Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell  is one of my favorites.

2. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Paris, London. or near where I grew up, Monterey, California.

3. Who's your favorite person in the whole world? Why?
My mom. She's an inspiration to me because of her perserverance to overcome difficult situations and her neverending positiviy among other things of course.

4. Who's your celebrity crush?
Joseph Gordon-Levitt of course. Oh and also more recently Matt Healy of The 1975.

5. Did you cry watching the Titanic?
I barely seen it for the first time a couple of months ago, crazy right? And no, I did not cry. Okay, I might have shed one tear.Maybe.

6. Have you ever been in love?
No. I was gonna leave it at that but I don't want to sound like some grump who think's love is just a chemical reaction between two people, and all of that scientific crap. What I mean is I haven't been in love yet,

7. How many kids do you want?
Idk. I know some girls my age are already having kids and starting a family but for me it's too crazy to even imagine. Right now I'm still learning what I want to do with my life, I could not even imagine being in charge of another human's being life.

8. What makes you happy?
Writing, creating, listening to music, Netflix, baking, eating, Fall, overcast weather, rain, the beach, blogging, shopping, my family etc. Basically, everything lol.

9. What is your favorite thing about yourself?
I feel like anyway I answer this question will make me sound self-obsessesed and egotistical but probably my heart.  What I mean is that I'm kind to others, care a lot about others, and have good intentions. Basically I just believe that my heart's in a good place. I hope that made sense, I think I've answered way too many questions for one day.

10. What is your favorite blog?
Scathingly Brilliant

MY NOMINEES:
Socks With Sandals
Starla Says
Life With Antler's
Crown & Cape
Brendy Beauty
Tilililly

MY QUESTIONS:
1. What is your dream career? why?
2.What is at the top of your Christmas list this year?
3. If you won a million dollars today what is the first thing you would purchase?
4. What is your favorite song?
5. One word to describe your blog?
6. If you could spend the day with any celebrity, who would it be and why?
7. What is a quote you really like, or live by?
8. If you had the power to change one thing in the world today, what would it be?
9. What pushed you to start blogging?
10. What is the meaning behind the name of your blog?

I hope I didn't bore you guys too much with my answers. Have a great week

F. Scott Fitzgerald, you genius.

There's this quote by F. Scott Fitzgerald that goes "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall." It's from one of my favorite novels, The Great Gatsby.  Indeed he was right. The awakening is undeniable. It's almost as if the moment the leaves start changing colors you get this completely natural boost of energy and enthusiasm as well. A new found hope that everything you've ever dreamt is possible ( okay I may be being a bit dramatic, but it's my blog after all, if I can't be dramatic here, where can I be?). At least that's how I feel. I tend to feel more creative and inspired in the fall/winter months and I have no idea why. I mean sure there are plenty of things that I love about Fall, but to say a pumpkin spice latte inspires my creativity, would certainly be a stretch. No, I just think it's the change in atmosphere.Anyone else feel this way?

The day we took these photos it finally cooled down a little. I believe it was in the 70's that day, a nice change for us Californians. Although definitely, not as cool as I'd like it to be. Anyways it was a little overcast, so I asked Dora if she wanted to do an ootd shoot with me. Seeing as how she shares an affinity for overcast weather as well, she agreed.

So without further adieu, as promised here's the unboxing of my first Le Tote box as well as some outfit photos. Enjoy.

The box everything comes in.

The lovely message waiting for you once you open your package.

Love this: "Warning: Contents are chic."
The complimentary tote and measuring tape you receive with your first order.

Now let's get to the outfits.

Honestly, I was a bit weary about what my first package would be like. For all I knew, the people at Le Tote could have just thrown whatever they like in the boxes and shipped them off. Happily, for me, this was not the case. I feel like the stylists at Le Tote really paid attention to my personal sense of style and sent me items related to ones I had added to "my closet". In fact, every single item I received were items already in my closet. My two favorite pieces I received were probably the flannel shirt and bracelet in the photos above. I think this flannel is perfect for Fall, as well as cute and very comfortable. And the bracelet....I fell in love with it. It's just so freakin' cute! The day I sent these two items back was a very sad day indeed lol.

Outfit:
Shirt: Le Tote
Leggings: Target
Boots: Target
Bracelet: Le Tote

I'm a sucker for a good ol' baseball tee, this top is basically that just a little fancier, like a baseball blouse if that makes sense. That being said, I like the versatility in the items Le Tote sends. I feel like this top could have easily been dressed up or down and if I hadn't been so lazy that day, I actually would have put more thought into this second outfit. I didn't  even bother to change my pants or boots lol. I also really liked the necklace. Dainty jewelry is my favorite, so this necklace was definitely spot on with my style.

Outfit:
Shirt: Le Tote
Leggings: Target
Boots: Target
Necklace: Le Tote

Last but certainly not least Dora's outfit!  So this sweater dress was meant for me to wear as were all the items, however after trying it on, I knew the fit wasn't me at all.  I don't blame Le Tote for this though, after all I was the one who added it to my closet. It's just I'm a much bigger fan of A-line style dresses, and not these dresses that go straight down and hug every curve of your body. Not to say I hate all of these, this one was just a bit too tight for my taste. So here comes Dora to the rescue ha. It was definitely a bit (very) big on her, so she belted it, and voila it looked like it was made for her!  P.S. On the plus side, this dress was probably one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn, err tried on.

Outfit:
Dress: Le Tote
Belt: Target
Shoes: TOMS

Hope you guys enjoyed! If you feel like you'd like to give Le Tote a try you can click here! Also don't forget to use my special reader's code: BIANCA15 to recieve 15% off of your first order.

What did you think of these outfits?  How's your fall going so far? Leave me a comment, I love reading them. As always thanks a bunnnnnncccchhhhh for reading! Have a great week!

Influenster Dean's List VoxBox Review!

I realize now that the title of this post may seem like a big jumble of words to someone who's never heard of Influenster before. And in that case I'm happy to tell you that I am here to give you a short explanation of what Influenster is.

In my own words, Influenster is a really awesome website where you can get boxes of free, often full size and/or new items in exchange for some reviews and a survey. These products can range from cosmetic products to clothes to bigger items like a Keurig machine. The key to getting these boxes, called Voxboxes, is linking up all your social media accounts to your Influenster account as well as staying active on your Influenster account. It's actually quite easy. I signed up back in July this year and have qualified for two Voxboxes since then, with very little effort on my part to be honest. If you feel like Influenster is something you'd like to try out you check out their website here. Or if you're feeling particuraly nice today you can ask me to send you an invite via email in the comments and I will get points or something for it haha.

Enough of that, let's get to the reviews!

Airhead's Bites
This was the first product that I "tested" haha. To put simply I really enjoyed these and I would definitely purchase in the future. I've always been a fan of Airheads, so I thought these were great because they have the taste and texture of a regular Airhead only in bite size form. They're more convenient and not at all sticky and messy.

Sinful Colors nail polish in "No Text Red"
I've tried several Sinful Colors nail polishes  in the past and I've been really happy with all of them. This one was no exception. I think this polish has a great formula, it covered well with only one coat, although I never feel quite right with only one coat, so I applied a second, unneccessary coat cause I'm weird or something lol. Also I think the message Sinful Colors is trying to get across is amazing. They want you to paint your thumbnails with "no text red" as a reminder to not text and drive. This has become a serious problem, especially with people my age, and I love that Sinful Colors is not just talking about it but tyring to do something about it.

SoftLips Cube
I haven't used Softlips products in years, so seeing this adorable little thing was a nice suprise. The packaging itself is really cute, a tiny little cube, it reminds me a bit of the EOS lipbalms only in a cube shape package rather than circular shaped. The balm is great, it keeps my lips smooth and moisturized, without any oily or waxy feeling. The scent is a wonderful "berry pomegranate" smell and it has menthol so there is a slight tingly, minty feeling when applied.

Kiss Looks So Natural False Lashes
I've never been one to use false eyelashes, I feel like mine are quite long enough, so of course I gave these to my sister to try out. Once on, they looked very well, natural. They aren't over the top like some falsies are, they're definitely more an everyday, causual fasies rather than a going out type. I feel like if you are new to falsies or hesistant to try them these are perfect for you as they are very "real" looking and approachable. As for the application, it was quite easy as well. Dora says she'd definitely purchase again.

Covergirl Ready,Set, Gorgeous foundation
I'm going to be honest I've got mixed feelings about this foundation. Let me start with the pros. It's oil free, suitable for sensitive skin and will not clog your pores or make you breakout. It's a medium to full coverage foundation that blends quite easily and does a fine job of covering up imperfections and redness and all that. Sounds great right? Now let's get to the cons. It's so orange!!! Now I don't know if that's just because I picked a shade or two too dark for me or if it was just a bad batch. Either way, I was not impressed. Also they claim it reduces shine all day, however at the end of the day my face was oilier than ever, I couldn't believe it. In case you are wondering I did not go out in public with this foundation on, and only wore it in the house for testing purposes. Would I purchase in the future? Honestly I might buy a lighter shade and see how that goes because I think this foundation has a lot of pros, I would definitely use a powder with it though. On a side note, I did see an opportunity to make this work. I recently purchased a Revlon foundation  that was too light for me, so I might try mixing that with this one and see what happens. I'll let you know the outcome lol.

Pilot Frixion erasable gel pens
They're erasable pens, of course I liked them. Seriously though, I really did like these. The only con I can think of is that sometimes the ink smudges a little when erasing and it can be a bit difficult to write over where you erased. Other than that they're great. They also come in many other colors, so they'd be perfect for drawing/doodling.

Also included in this Voxbox was a box of Playtex Sport Tampons. I really did not feel like a review was necessary, I'm sure you guys understand lol.
